HMS Awarded £3 million Maintenance Tender

As an experienced repairs and maintenance specialist, we are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Cobalt Housing’s Maintenance Tender.

Supporting Cobalt’s ambitions to provide high quality homes to its customers, we have officially been awarded the largest element of the Tender; Responsive Repairs and Voids and will begin works this month.

With works valued at £3 million, the team will provide a raft of services as part of the contract to deliver responsive and emergency repairs alongside technical inspections, major works and void property works to ensure Cobalt’s portfolio of 6,000 properties are safe, fit-for-purpose and exceed current specifications.

With 10 years’ experience managing and delivering repairs and maintenance services, this 3-year contract will see our award-winning team manage homes across North Liverpool and provide Cobalt’s tenants round-the-clock support to keep their homes secure and working.

Discussing the award, HMS’ Maintenance Director, Alison Brown, said: “We are thrilled to have been awarded this tender and begin working with Cobalt Housing to provide services that will ultimately keep their customers safe and healthy in their homes.

“Alongside the day-to-day operational activities, we are thrilled to be working with Colbalt to help inform and implement their sustainability agenda within their existing property portfolio for customers to benefit from in years to come.”

Continuing, Cobalt Housing’s Director of Operations, Dave Woods, said: “This is an exciting time for Cobalt and the award of these contracts has come after a long and very detailed tender process, which was made all the more complicated by the restrictions of the pandemic. However, we are delighted to appoint HMS as our new delivery partner and know they are as committed as we are to delivering high-quality services to our tenants and communities.”
