North West building and maintenance specialist HMS operates as a ‘social entrepreneur’; 100% of its profits are gift aided for meaningful social projects such as local employment initiatives, health and social inclusion projects.
This ethos was acknowledged at last week’s 2018 Regional Business Awards held in the majestic Liverpool Cathedral. HMS was delighted to accept the Outstanding Charity Support Award which recognises the innovative business model employed by the group to fund charitable, social projects across the region by reinvesting profits generated through construction and maintenance activities.
Paul Worthington, HMS Managing Director comments, “The full business community was represented from small local start-ups to business trading internationally. It was a fantastic event to be part of and I was really proud to collect the award on behalf of the team.”
