North West construction and maintenance specialist HMS is approaching completion of its first new-build project for client Liverpool Mutual Homes.
A mix of 2-bed and 3-bed homes for Shared Ownership home-buyers are being created within LMH’s prestigious ‘Ogden’s Place’ development, which is bringing over 150 new affordable homes to the Everton area of North Liverpool.
HMS’ construction teams arrived on site in April 2017 to prepare the project area, which had previously hosted areas of the historic Ogden’s tobacco factory.
Each timber-framed family property has been built to exceptional quality standards, with energy efficient heating, high-specification kitchens and luxury tiled bathrooms. The homes also offer spacious gardens and off street parking.
The scheme has proven to be extremely popular, particularly with young families looking to step onto the property ladder, and several homes have already been reserved.
Paul Worthington, Managing Director at HMS, said, “The Ogden’s new-build project is helping to transform a derelict and challenging brown-field site into modern, desirable housing for the Everton community.
“We are proud to have played our part in the renewal of this key site and look forward to handing these great family homes to their new owners.”
The Ogden’s development is on track for completion in early 2018, once arrangements have been finalised to connect essential utilities.
Meanwhile, HMS is actively preparing a number of new-build schemes across Liverpool due to commence in the New Year.
With around 40,000 homes across Merseyside, Cheshire and West Lancashire, efficient gas servicing is a priority for North West housing group Torus.
Torus group’s Ogden’s Place development in Everton was named Affordable Housing Scheme of the Year at last week’s Northern Housing Awards.
Leading North West construction specialist HMS has handed over its latest new-build scheme - a collection of two-bedroom homes designed to appeal to the Rent to Buy market.
